Oui, je parle français. When I left my home town of Fort Coulonge at the age of 18, I had the whole world in my back pocket. Whenever I think back to 1988 and that first day working for the Donnelly family I can still smell the fresh brewed coffee in the service department that made it feel like a welcoming place, and I soon realized my calling was in the car business. The service department was where all the action was, many customers coming in and out, all kind of problems to solve, I loved it! I learned quickly that the customer was the first thing we had to fix and the car was second, and this experience taught me that my goal should always be to satisfy the customer. Often my loyal customers would ask me for help and advice when they were buying another car, so after 12 years I decided to try out a new challenge and I moved into car sales. This was a very easy transition for me, Maureen Donnelly gave me exciting advice and all the support I needed, and before long I was selling 10 to 20 cars a month. I was always excited to come to work! The next challenge came when after 5 years of selling cars I moved into the position of Finance Manager. With my experience in sales and service I strongly believed the products being offered to customers ensured trouble free driving, so this position gave me all the tools necessary for being professional and committed to helping customers protect their investments. When I'm away from the dealership I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.Oui, je parle français. After spending my entire childhood in Ottawa and graduating from Hillcrest High School in 2008, I moved to Hamilton to attend McMaster University. I thoroughly enjoyed studying Sociology for two years, but I had to put the degree on hold and I plan to finish it at a later date. When I moved back to Ottawa and was looking online for a full time job the posting at Donnelly's caught my eye. Working on the lot outside all the time, and with a large group of people in a selling environment seemed like a lot of fun, and I have found it very rewarding. Not only has it taught me to manage my time better and become very organized, but I have driven some very nice vehicles! In late 2011 I was promoted and asked to launch the Donnelly accessories department which includes assisting customers with managing the technology on their vehicles. This interaction with customers is wonderful and I really enjoy watching them leave happy. After relocating to Ottawa in 2003 I took advantage of seeking a new career change and found myself in the automotive industry. I soon discovered that I enjoyed it immensely. I've been with the Donnelly Automotive Group or "Donnelly Family" as I like to call them, since 2007 after leaving car sales to join them as a Financial Services Manager. With my background as an Office Manager in the financial planning industry it was an easy transition for me. I now take full advantage of my previous finance experience to help my customers protect their most recent investment, that new or used car or truck. Because next to buying a home it may just be the biggest financial purchase they make. I look forward to showing you the many ways you can protect your new investment too. After relocating to Ottawa in 2003 I took advantage of seeking a new career change and found myself in the automotive industry. I feel very fortunate to have been part of the Donnelly family for the last 11 years. I'm a true motor-head with a passion for the automotive business. Of course I also love working with people, and as an employee of Donnelly's I'm lucky to be able to take part in both! I sincerely appreciate seeing a satisfied customer leave our lot in a new vehicle and it is my wish that everyone - both employees and customers alike - have a positive experience when they visit our dealership. Originally from Montreal my family moved to Ottawa when I was very young. At 18 years old I started in the automotive industry and did many different jobs including apprentice mechanic, service advisor, salesperson and sales manager. My approach with customers has always been calm and laid back, and I joined Donnelly in 2010 when I heard about the Donnelly Auto Credit program. The opportunity to work with customers who never thought they could get a car loan represented a challenge that I thought my years of experience could solve. Being a Credit Manager is a perfect fit for me, and the best part of my job is hearing my customers say I've made a positive change in their life. Getting them approved can sometimes be against the odds, but seeing them drive away with their needs met is all the reward I need, day in and day out. In 1996 my first job out of school was selling door to door. Fresh out of school in 1991, I joined Donnellys selling cars, not expecting the job to last too long. What a surprise when within 4 weeks I realized this was the job for me! I loved the fast paced environment of the showroom, meeting new people every day, and the fact that no two days were the same. Over the years I've held many management positions, but I realized that I prefer to work closely with customers one on one, so I started our Donnelly Auto Credit department. I wanted to specialize in car loan credit counseling, to help good people who have had some unfortunate credit problems, get their life back on track. It may take a little more work securing a car loan for these customers, but I really enjoy the complexity involved in getting them driving the right vehicle. A day without laughter is a day wasted! This sums up how I feel about many things, including my automotive career. Prior to joining the Donnelly's in 1989 I owned a restaurant in Quebec and learned I loved working with the public. Who knew when I responded to a salesperson ad in the newspaper I would end up being here this long, and work my way up to the position of General Sales Manager? I've worked with all the franchises the Donnelly's own, groomed many staff, but most importantly I’ve realized we don’t sell cars, the reality of our business is that we establish relationships for life. Whenever I’m in any of the dealerships, I find myself greeting customers that I've known for nearly 20 years. Oui, je parle français My youth was spent growing up in Val d'Or, Quebec, Elliott Lake in Northern Ontario and as of 1975 Gatineau, Quebec. Originally from Toronto I made my way to Ottawa in 1969. During high school I started working summer jobs at the local car dealership, and with my given name "Lincoln" it was natural that this was the business for me. After graduating with degrees in Business & Finance and a post graduate major in Accounting I realized after a few years behind a desk that I needed more interaction with people. My father and brothers were in sales and spoke highly of how fun it was to meet new people every day, so in 1993 I joined Donnelly as a Sales Consultant. Within a short time I was promoted to Fleet & Commercial Sales where my primary role is to sell to entrepreneurs, local companies and fleet accounts. Service Manager

For over 8 years I worked in the fast food industry, serving customers and opening new stores. It was fast paced, and working with the public was a lot of fun, however I realized how much Ottawa meant to me when I turned down the promotion A&W offered me in Toronto. Instead, I found a career working with the public at Donnelly's, another fast paced business. There is no better feeling than helping a good customer with their car, and making their day a good one. When I'm out of the dealership you can find me working out at the gym, eating at one of the great Italian restaurants around town, or cheering GO SENS GO. My other great passion is my grandchildren; I can't believe I'm old enough to have them, but they make me smile every day.For over 8 years I worked in the fast food industry, serving customers and opening new stores. Parts Manager

Right out of school and working odd jobs, I always loved cars. My passion for a 1968 Mustang that I was rebuilding meant I was always buying parts and had been to every dealership. In 1985 while I was buying parts at Donnelly I asked if they were hiring. I wasn't a parts expert, but I knew just enough to be dangerous, and I was able to secure a position in the parts department. My craze over cars went on until my late 20's, and by that time I realized that the structure of the parts department was engrained in me and I've stayed with it ever since. The constant challenge is to have the right part, at the right time, for the right price, and I thoroughly enjoy the logistics involved in making this happen. My passion for adventure finds me mountain bike racing and riding my bike to work most days in the summer and XC skiing in Gatineau Park in the winter. I have recently attained my "Shodan" 1st degree black belt in Karate.Right out of school and working odd jobs, I always loved cars.
