With the launch of the new SYNC 4 infotainment system in the 2021 Ford F-150 and Mach E, it’s now the 2021 Edge’s turn to get some awesome tech updates. Ford’s mid-size SUV is increasing your ability to be connected on the go as you drive throughout the Capital region.

SYNC 4 is standard on the new Edge, which includes an amazing high-resolution 12-inch centre touchscreen – the largest screen in its class. SYNC 4 enhances the amazing functions of SYNC 3 – it’s still very intuitive, easy-to-use but it now supports multitasking by splitting the screen into multiple windows. For example, you can view the navigation screen on one side, and then tune your Sirius XM stations on the other, all while staying on the same screen.

Also, SYNC 4 allows for greater wireless capabilities with adding in the option for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as all-new cloud connectivity functions that allows drivers to access the latest information immediately. Need to troubleshoot something? No problem – open the digital Owner’s Manual, search stream-able how-to videos, watch them directly on the 12-inch screen, and hopefully the problem is solved. The new Edge also adds more options for passengers to always be powered up with 2 additional USB Ports, including USB-C for a total of four.
