In 1991, I moved from Peterborough to Ottawa to study Fire Protection and Safety. When I graduated in 1994 the jobs were scarce, so I decided to try my luck at door to door sales. I quickly realized that I enjoyed the selling aspects, but wouldn't it make more sense to have the customer come to you? At the time my brother was selling cars and he urged me to apply at local dealerships. There were several openings, but I chose Ford because I loved the product, and after only a few years I was hooked. Wow, look at that, it's become a career! I've worked in a number of management positions and have found my niche as Commercial Sales & Leasing Manager. I'm not a die hard car buff, what I love is the fact that I meet people from all walks of life and the challenge of finding customers the right car for them. The product we sell is very important but at the end of the day I hope my personal service has made a difference. When not at work, I enjoy snowmobiling with the family, fishing with the boys and golf when time permits.

Born in El Salvador, I emigrated to Canada at a young age and was raised in Ottawa South. I started at Donnelly in 2006 and initially worked in a variety of jobs, including IT and dispatch. But after speaking to sales people and learning about the profession I approached the General Sales Manager about a sales opportunity. What I like about sales is learning about the technology in the new vehicles, and engaging with customers who are unique and come from all walks of life. When I'm not at work you'll find me hiking, taking the dog out for walks with my wife, or traveling.

After university and a short hockey stint, I started my career at Jim Donnelly's Beaver Lincoln Mercury. Now 35 years in, over 25 with the Donnelly Family. Grateful for great guests turned friends and fantastic co-workers. Best family with my wife of 35 years, two daughters, and two granddaughters. When not at the store, I'm likely on the golf course chasing the little white ball.
