In 1991 I moved from Peterborough to Ottawa to study Fire Protection and Safety. When I graduated in 1994 the jobs were scarce, so I decided to try my luck at door to door sales. I quickly realized that I enjoyed the selling aspects, but wouldn't it make more sense to have the customer come to you? At the time my brother was selling cars and he urged me to apply at local dealerships. There were several openings, but I chose Ford because I loved the product, and after only a few years I was hooked. Wow, look at that, it's become a career! I've worked in a number of management positions and have found my niche as Commercial Sales & Leasing Manager. I'm not a die hard car buff, what I love is the fact that I meet people from all walks of life and the challenge of finding customers the right car for them. The product we sell is very important but at the end of the day I hope my personal service has made a difference. When not at work I enjoy snowmobiling with the family, fishing with the boys and golf when time permits.

Originally from Toronto I made my way to Ottawa in 1969. During high school I started working summer jobs at the local car dealership, and with my given name "Lincoln" it was natural that this was the business for me. After graduating with degrees in Business & Finance and a post graduate major in Accounting I realized after a few years behind a desk that I needed more interaction with people. My father and brothers were in sales and spoke highly of how fun it was to meet new people every day, so in 1993 I joined Donnelly as a Sales Consultant. Within a short time I was promoted to Fleet & Commercial Sales where my primary role is to sell to entrepreneurs, local companies and fleet accounts. I still love to work with individual customers and referrals, and I refer to these clients as my fleets with 1 vehicle! My motto is "its customer service that sells the car" because I believe my job is to advise customers on the best way to get the car they want. My multi brand product knowledge, truck expertise and the fact we can lease all makes and models, puts me in a unique position in this industry. In my spare time I like to golf, travel, and spend time with my family and friends.

Born in El Salvador I emigrated to Canada at a young age and was raised in Ottawa South. I started at Donnellys in 2006 and initially worked in a variety of jobs, including IT and dispatch. But after speaking to sales people and learning about the profession I approached the General Sales Manager about a sales opportunity. What I like about sales is learning about the technology in the new vehicles, and engaging with customers who are unique and come from all walks of life. When I'm not at work you'll find me hiking, taking the dog out for walks with my wife, or traveling
