Oui, je parle français. When I left my home town of Fort Coulonge at the age of 18, I had the whole world in my back pocket. Whenever I think back to 1988 and that first day working for the Donnelly family I can still smell the fresh brewed coffee in the service department that made it feel like a welcoming place, and I soon realized my calling was in the car business. The service department was where all the action was, many customers coming in and out, all kind of problems to solve, I loved it! I learned quickly that the customer was the first thing we had to fix and the car was second, and this experience taught me that my goal should always be to satisfy the customer. Often my loyal customers would ask me for help and advice when they were buying another car, so after 12 years I decided to try out a new challenge and I moved into car sales. This was a very easy transition for me, Maureen Donnelly gave me exciting advice and all the support I needed, and before long I was selling 10 to 20 cars a month. I was always excited to come to work! The next challenge came when after 5 years of selling cars I moved into the position of Finance Manager. With my experience in sales and service I strongly believed the products being offered to customers ensured trouble free driving, so this position gave me all the tools necessary for being professional and committed to helping customers protect their investments. When I'm away from the dealership I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.Oui, je parle français. Sales Consultant / Donnelly Custom Specialist

After spending my entire childhood in Ottawa and graduating from Hillcrest High School in 2008, I moved to Hamilton to attend McMaster University, where I thoroughly enjoyed studying Sociology. When I moved back to Ottawa I heard Donnelly’s was looking for a lot attendant. Working on the lot outside all the time, with a large group of people in a selling environment was a lot of fun, and I found it very rewarding. Not only did it teach me to manage my time better and become very organized, but I got to drive some very nice vehicles! In late 2011 I was promoted and asked to launch the Donnelly accessories department as I love customizing trucks and cars! It also included assisting customers with managing the technology on their vehicles. This interaction with customers was wonderful and I really enjoyed watching them leave happy. In 2012 I moved into the sales department and have been enjoying myself ever since. I have maintained my love of customization and am now the Custom Brand and Accessory Champion. I also have a Youtube page where I showcase those custom vehicles, online test drives and other weekly specials. When I am not at work you can find me travelling the world, mountain biking, playing hockey, or just hanging out with family and friends. After spending my entire childhood in Ottawa and graduating from Hillcrest High School in 2008, I moved to Hamilton to attend McMaster University, where I thoroughly enjoyed studying Sociology. Used Car Sales Manager

In 1996 my first job out of school was selling door to door. After a year I decided to try my hand at car sales, and I realized that by having an office and an inventory of cars to sell from, I could treat my customers professionally. Now I reflect back and realize that switching jobs was the best thing I ever did! What I like most about car sales is that every day is different; you don't know day to day, or month to month, what to expect. You are always meeting new people, and it is a challenge finding them the right car at the right payment to make them happy. But there's no better reward than helping out a customer and winning them over with professionalism. As Used Car Manager, I pride myself on selecting only the best of the best pre owned vehicles in the market. At Donnellys, because of our huge volume, in most cases, I can offer them under current market value. Donnelly Auto Credit Manager

Fresh out of school in 1991, I joined Donnellys selling cars, not expecting the job to last too long. What a surprise when within 4 weeks I realized this was the job for me! I loved the fast paced environment of the showroom, meeting new people every day, and the fact that no two days were the same. Over the years I've held many management positions, but I realized that I prefer to work closely with customers one on one, so I started our Donnelly Auto Credit department. I wanted to specialize in car loan credit counseling, to help good people who have had some unfortunate credit problems, get their life back on track. It may take a little more work securing a car loan for these customers, but I really enjoy the complexity involved in getting them driving the right vehicle. Nothing gives me a better feeling than watching one of my customers drive away with a big smile on their face!Fresh out of school in 1991, I joined Donnellys selling cars, not expecting the job to last too long. A day without laughter is a day wasted! This sums up how I feel about many things, including my automotive career. Prior to joining the Donnelly's in 1989 I owned a restaurant in Quebec and learned I loved working with the public. Who knew when I responded to a salesperson ad in the newspaper I would end up being here this long, and work my way up to the position of General Sales Manager? I've worked with all the franchises the Donnelly's own, groomed many staff, but most importantly I’ve realized we don’t sell cars, the reality of our business is that we establish relationships for life. Whenever I’m in any of the dealerships, I find myself greeting customers that I've known for nearly 20 years. My love for soccer must come from my home city of Lisbon, Portugal where my favorite team, Benfica, plays. After running my own small business, I entered the corporate world with a bit of trepidation. Career change at midlife can be disconcerting at best, but what a great decision I made to join the Donnelly Family! Since Day One this has been a supportive environment in which to learn something new. While I started off in Sales, I bring a lot of diverse experience to the role I have now as Customer Loyalty Specialist here at Donnelly Auto Group. Luckily, the best things about selling cars still apply. Meeting great people, and working with great people, make this a great place to work, and a great place to buy a car! I’ve always thought that selling is about helping people find the right thing to fulfill their needs, and that applies whether it is apples ice cream or automobiles. It all starts with building a relationship of trust and taking a genuine interest in people. Raised in the countryside north of Ottawa, I remember hearing the Donnelly jingle on the radio, never thinking I would someday end up working here! Now my kids chime in every time we hear it in the car. And, with three kids and soccer, volleyball and equitation on the go, we all spend a lot of time together on the road. We watch for the Donnelly name on other vehicles, and we all feel proud to be part of this organization. After running my own small business, I entered the corporate world with a bit of trepidation. Oui, je parle français. My youth was spent growing up in Val d'Or, Quebec, Elliott Lake in Northern Ontario and as of 1975 Gatineau, Quebec. I had family members in automotive related businesses, and one summer I worked in a body shop repairing cars, and I loved it. In 1987, when I left the Air Force, I remembered that summer job and decided to return to that environment as my next career. I quickly learned that having a collision can be a traumatic event for customers and that a successful shop makes the repair experience as worry free as possible. Originally from Toronto I made my way to Ottawa in 1969. During high school I started working summer jobs at the local car dealership, and with my given name "Lincoln" it was natural that this was the business for me. After graduating with degrees in Business & Finance and a post graduate major in Accounting I realized after a few years behind a desk that I needed more interaction with people. My father and brothers were in sales and spoke highly of how fun it was to meet new people every day, so in 1993 I joined Donnelly as a Sales Consultant. Within a short time I was promoted to Fleet & Commercial Sales where my primary role is to sell to entrepreneurs, local companies and fleet accounts. Training and Business Development Manager

I was born and raised in Toronto and yes, I’m a Maple Leafs fan… please don’t hold that against me! I graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2005 and have enjoyed an excellent career in the finance world. I have always been a fan of the automotive business and more recently, this group for one main reason. Our vision at Donnelly’s is, “The Donnelly Automotive Group is a fully engaged team of professionals working together to create a truly exceptional customer and employee experience”. This team has a clear focus on the customer and employee experience. From my knowledge gained in the banking world, I know that customer and employee experience mean everything! That said, my family and I have moved to Ottawa to join the Donnelly team! We could not be happier to raise our three children in Ottawa and plant our roots. Outside of the office you can find me spending time with my family and cycling in the summer / snowboarding in the winter!

When I'm not at the office I enjoy golfing, boating and spending time with my family. In 1996 my first job out of school was selling door to door. My family immigrated to Canada from Central Italy in 1967. I am proud to serve Donnelly Ford customers in both English and Italian. I started my automotive apprenticeship here in Ottawa (my hometown) in 1985. I moved to Edmonton Alberta, the truck capital of Canada, where I finished my apprenticeship. After 4 great years of working on trucks out west I grew homesick and missed my family so I moved back to Ottawa. In 1998 I lucked out and landed a technician's position with Donnelly Sunrise Pontiac Buick GMC. It was the best move of my life. I earned the designation of GM Grand Master Technician and purchased a home with my family, and laid down permanent roots in Ottawa. With General Motors transition, the GM dealership closed but Donnelly's also had a Ford dealership where I moved to and never looked back. I quickly attained the designation of Ford Senior Master Technician. When Donnelly Ford Custom was launched I had a choice to join and make a difference. With a lot of hard work and some mistakes along the way, we grew into the Custom giant we are today in Ottawa with what I believe to be the nicest Custom lineup in Eastern Ontario. I have a huge passion for custom vehicles and believe I make a difference in my workplace. I take pride in what I build and take the finished product very personally. I feel good when our clients pick up their custom vehicle, knowing they drive away happy and smiling... it's all I need to feel satisfied in my work. I am very proud to be part of the Donnelly team and will be here for many years to come. In my spare time I enjoy maintaining and upgrading my home and spending time with my wife and sons. When the kids are not around I enjoy playing Call of Duty. I am always looking for a challenge and the chance to "wow" our customers. My family immigrated to Canada from Central Italy in 1967. For over 8 years I worked in the fast food industry, serving customers and opening new stores. It was fast paced, and working with the public was a lot of fun, however I realized how much Ottawa meant to me when I turned down the promotion A&W offered me in Toronto. Instead, I found a career working with the public at Donnelly's, another fast paced business. There is no better feeling than helping a good customer with their car, and making their day a good one. When I'm out of the dealership you can find me working out at the gym, eating at one of the great Italian restaurants around town, or cheering GO SENS GO. My other great passion is my grandchildren; I can't believe I'm old enough to have them, but they make me smile every day.For over 8 years I worked in the fast food industry, serving customers and opening new stores. Parts Manager

Right out of school and working odd jobs, I always loved cars. My passion for a 1968 Mustang that I was rebuilding meant I was always buying parts and had been to every dealership. In 1985 while I was buying parts at Donnelly I asked if they were hiring. I wasn't a parts expert, but I knew just enough to be dangerous, and I was able to secure a position in the parts department. My craze over cars went on until my late 20's, and by that time I realized that the structure of the parts department was engrained in me and I've stayed with it ever since. The constant challenge is to have the right part, at the right time, for the right price, and I thoroughly enjoy the logistics involved in making this happen. My passion for adventure finds me mountain bike racing and riding my bike to work most days in the summer and XC skiing in Gatineau Park in the winter. I have recently attained my "Shodan" 1st degree black belt in Karate.Right out of school and working odd jobs, I always loved cars.
